ABOUT

I became a journalist so I’d get paid to talk to people and write things. The opportunity to listen to a woman’s story, sometimes in moments of despair, sometimes in moments of triumph, has been a great gift.
One thing I’ve learned: no one has an ordinary life.
I write about women who are changing business, politics, education, entertainment, healthcare, and everything else. Women who are reinventing their lives, their companies, and their communities. I tell their stories in all sorts of places, including on this site, in the media, and on my podcast. I tell stories for companies and non-profits, too
I moved to Southern California a few years ago to chase a childhood dream of swimming pools and sunshine. My new adventure has had its share of challenges. But every good story has twists and turns, and I’m finding the joy in every single day.
